Merchandising by Market is designed to close that gap, transforming your single storefront into a collection of localized shopping experiences. It’s about connecting with your customers on their terms, showing them the right products, at the right price, in the right context.
We’ve integrated this powerful new capability directly into your existing workflow, making it incredibly easy to get started. This feature is available for both Commerce Search and Collection Merchandising.
When you create or edit a merchandising rule, you will now see a new required field: Select market to apply.

These rules are smart. When you target a specific market, the conditions you set for Price and Inventory will automatically use that market’s data. A rule to boost products over $100 will use the market-specific price, ensuring your promotions are always accurate.
Note: A/B testing for merchandising strategies with a selected territory is currently not supported. When creating an A/B test, if a market-specific merchandising strategy is chosen as the control version, a warning banner will be displayed.
To help you manage your new localized campaigns, we’ve updated the merchandising dashboard. You’ll find a new Assigned Market column, so you can see your campaign targeting at a glance.
We’ve also added a new filter, allowing you to view all the rules for a specific market in just a few clicks.
Furthermore, you can now test search functionalities within specific market contexts. This new feature allows for a more precise and realistic simulation of how search results will appear and perform for customers in various geographical and cultural regions.
